FIRST BASE provides high-quality ground screws as a sustainable alternative to concrete foundations. For over 10 years, we've supported professionals in tiny house construction and other timber frame building projects. Our in-house team of geotechnical engineers calculates the load-bearing capacity of your ground screws based on ground reports and soil tests — ensuring safe, proven foundations you can rely on.

How does it work?

FIRST BASE Ground Screws can be easily installed using a manual installation tool, or an electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic machine. The conical shape of the screws compresses the surrounding soil, increasing the load-bearing capacity. Whether you’re building on clay, peat, loam, or sand, FIRST BASE guarantees a solid foundation.

All FIRST BASE ground screws are manufactured using certified steel in compliance with EN 1090-1 and carry a valid CE/UKCA marking for load-bearing structural applications. Each production batch is traceable by a unique serial batch number and comes with corresponding 3.1 material certificates and a Declaration of Performance (DoP).
