Here’s to a new one!

Since I’m still pursuing the dream of a tiny office, we’re going to be visitors again this year at Europe’s largest tiny house festival, the New Housing in Karlsruhe. Right from the start of the trade fair I sense that there is a different atmosphere on the exhibition grounds. There are more exhibitors than the year before, and also more visitors. Apparently more and more people have this tiny living feeling.

Diverse

The companies have placed their tiny houses and modular houses both indoors and outdoors. You can also find companies that offer accessories or other services. There are many experts on site and there are lively discussions everywhere. Technical questions about accessories, interior design, legal questions about tiny living concepts. The need for information and enlightenment is great. The opportunity to take part in various forums is widely used.

Increasing interest

Interest in small living formats is increasing, and this is noticeable when you visit the trade fair. Rising real estate and land prices are ensuring that the topic of “tiny living” is increasingly moving out of its niche position.
